Drehorte von "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"

Wie ist es auf deutsch? Werden die isländischen Dialoge übersetzt oder sind sie im Original?

Ich kann mich nur daran erinnern, dass bei der Szene mit den Kindern und dem Skateboard die Eltern nur isländisch reden (koma strax).

Was ich ein bisschen komisch fand war, dass auf dem Kucheneinwickelpapier mit dem Hinweis auf den Eyjafjalljökull "eldgos" statt "eruption" stand. Erstmal versteht das vielleicht kaum jemand, weil du ja erstmal das Wort "Eyjafjalljökull" so schnell lesen und dann schalten musst, dass es evt. um einen Ausbruch geht. Und dann passt es irgendwie nicht, dass ein englischsprachiger Fotograf (Sean) mit isländischen Wörtern hantiert, die kaum einer kennt. Aber gut, es passt ja mehr nicht. Wenn er doch wenigstens das richtige Datum genommen hätte .

Edit (nachdem ich Uwes Beitrag las, der schneller war): Ich war auch etwas enttäuscht, bin aber vermutlich auch mit anderen Erwartungen und anderen Vorinfos als "normale" Zuschauer in den Film gegangen.

Und Gunnar Helgason ruft Walter etwas auf isländisch hinterher als dieser zum Flughafen will. Ist das übersetzt oder isländisch drin geblieben?

Aber das allerheftigste ist die kurz zu sehende gefälschte Islandkarte, wo der Eyjafjallajökull tatsächlich in einem Fjord gegenüber von Stykkishólmur liegt (soweit ich mich an diesen kurzen Blick auf die Karte erinnere).

Der Eyrafjall wurde in den Eyjafjallajökull umgewandlet und Stykkishólmur an das Fjordende gepflanzt.

Ich finde solche Abweichungen total unwichtig in so einem Film. Es geht ja nicht um eine Touristenwerbeaktion oder um geographische Präzision. Stykkishólmur ist Nuuk, Seyðisfjörður ist Stykkishólmur... was solls

Vatnajökull got a good visit here for days 11 to 12 . December preceding year when a large group of television and journalists arrived from the United States to study the admission standard sized film " The Secret Life of Walter Mitty " here in the realm of Vatnajökull . The trip was in every way very well the cooperative 20th Century Fox , which produced the movie , True North, and Promote Iceland Vatnajökull Pvt .

It is safe to say that the group is fascinated by Vatnajökull and we got ofa thank-you note from them to visit after . Part of them had even gone to counseling about dual citizenship so they could come back and be as long as they wanted. Not a bad recommendation it !

The culmination of the visit is just starting to show in good introduction to our area abroad , but the discussion has been both in print, broadcasting and community media. I 've compiled a portion of the material that has been out and share it here with you .
