Habe den Film noch nicht gesehen, werde ich aber heute im Laufe des Tages nachholen.

Plot
As a young girl, Hera Karlsdottir watches her older brother Baldur sustain fatal injuries in a tractor accident on the family farm.

In her teenage years, Hera adopts the metal music and style that her brother adored. In her tight-knit community, Hera's music of choice and her behavior, going out late to ride a tractor in the remote Iceland countryside, stand out. Meanwhile, her parents grieve and pursue community life by participating in the village church choir.

Increasingly alienated, Hera sets fire to the community church and runs away from her parents' home. Soon, she returns and is forgiven by her neighbors and friends.

While she reconciles with her community, she begins a relationship with her childhood friend. She moves in with his family and they become engaged.

Three Young men find Hera's parents house, seeking her out because they are fans of a metal tape she had made during her metalhead phase. Confronted with the contrast between her passion for metal and her current life, Hera ends her relationship and begins playing music again.

Der Film ist klasse, wir haben ihn schon letztes Jahr auf dem Flug mit Icelandair gesehen.
